AxoCure is formulated to safely and effectively treat external parasitic infections in axolotls, including Monogenetic trematodes, Ichthyobodo, and Chilodonella uncinata.

When to Use:

Axolotl parasite issues can show as:

• Excess mucus

• Blisters, sores or lesions

• Colour loss or patchy skin

• Peeling, shedding or chalky skin

• Scratching or rubbing

These symptoms can also be caused by poor water quality, so always test with Aquarium Lab Test Kits before treating.

How to Use AxoCure (Bath Treatment):

• Test aquarium water first.

• Use a quarantine tank or clean lidded container (with airflow).

• Fill with aquarium water and measure the volume.

• Dose accurately with AxoCure and mix well.

• Gently transfer your axolotl using a net or container.

• Leave in the bath for 8 hours in a cool, dark place.

• Perform a water change on the main tank while treating.

• Check your axolotl hourly for signs of stress.

• Return them to the tank using minimal bath water.

• If symptoms persist after two weeks, retreat for two consecutive days.

Don’t:

• Don’t add AxoCure directly to the aquarium.

• Don’t treat for more than two consecutive days.

• Don’t leave the axolotl in the bath for over 8 hours.
