NT Labs Anti-Parasite can be used in Tropical and Coldwater aquariums for parasites such as Trichodina, Costia & oodinium. Previously known as Anti-Velvet & Slime. Certain species of parasites such as Trichodina, Costia and Oodinium can cause fish to produce a whitish mucus layer known as velvet or slime disease. Anti-Parasite is a single dose treatment to eradicate these protozoan parasites. Symptoms can be Rubbing or irritation of the fish. Fish appear to be covered in a whitish film of slime. Clamped fins, no clear signs of parasites such as whitespot.
Do not use if shrimp or snails are present in the aquarium.
